At El Colmado we are aware that food is a necessary good which, unfortunately, many do not have sufficient access<\/b>. There are currently many corners of the world in which people work exclusively to provide basic nourishment to themselves and family.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In this cruel scenario, children are the most affected. Feeding in scholar ages is basic for a prosperous and healthy future. We owe it to the future, so we cannot look away when nutrition is denied to children whose life motto should be education and imagination.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

EL COLMADO COLLABORATES WITH THE NGO MARY’S MEALS<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Por ello, desde nuestro Bar de Tapas<\/a><\/strong>en Berl\u00edn queremos expandir una vocaci\u00f3n humanitaria con el fin de que no haya ning\u00fan ni\u00f1o hambriento. En cooperaci\u00f3n con la magn\u00edfica ONG <\/strong>Mary’s Meals<\/strong><\/a> donamos una comida durante toda una semana escolar a ni\u00f1os necesitados por cada compra o consumo de nuestros productos<\/strong>. El objetivo de Mary’s Meals, <\/em>que compartimos, es ofrecer a los ni\u00f1os hambrientos una comida escolar diaria y fomentar la educaci\u00f3n como medio contra de la pobreza<\/strong>. Creemos que promoviendo una escolarizaci\u00f3n que incluya la abolici\u00f3n del hambre apoyamos e impulsamos un crecimiento no s\u00f3lo f\u00edsico sino acad\u00e9mico. Con muy poco podemos lograr hitos extraordinarios. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Therefore, our Tapas Bar in Berlin wants to expand a humanitarian vocation so thatthere is no hungry child. In cooperation with the wonderful NGO Mary’s Meals<\/a>, for each purchase or consumption of our Tapas and products, we donate a meal for a whole school week to children in need<\/strong>. Our shared goal is to offer hungry children a daily school meal and promote education as a means against poverty. We believe that by promoting schooling that includes the ending of hunger, we support and encourage not only physical but educational growth<\/strong>. Consequently, this can have an unmeasurable impact in the communities\u00b4 future. With very little we can achieve extraordinary milestones.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The opportunity to create a better world, in which hunger is a nasty memory, is in our hands and we\u2019ll not waste it.<\/strong> There is a time to let things happen and a time to make things happen. We invite you to change the world directly from our kitchen to Malawi and Zambia. Every food we offer echoes somewhere in the world because there is a child who can eat. Feel involved in feeding children in need while, with the help of our tasty Tapas, you approach the Spanish cuisine. There is a solidary flavour in our Wines, cheeses, olives, anchovies and tortillas that incites an extra pleasure in their tasting. Let’s play magic and turn a Spanish Tapa in Berlin into a child’s smile.<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n
