The cold has taken over the city, although people walk in family and the lights shine on the streets of Berlin. Christmas is here. In El Colmado we are aware of it, and among many other services, we offer you Christmas baskets with Spanish products so that you canhaunt your loved ones. However, we are a special Spanish Restaurant in Berlin. Even considering that betting for tapas and other Spanish products is already a remarkable feature in this part of Europe, our goal was always to go one step further.
The weight of the Spanish gastronomy in the world is undeniable, so the merit of taking it to Berlin lies in how to faithfully represent all its products and forms, while achieving an excellent quality in all the dishes. However, importing the Spanish gastronomic culture is a pretext to help those who need it. In these weeks in which we meet the family and thebeloved ones who, perhaps, we have not seen for a long time, is a good time to remember that El Colmado continues, one more year, supporting those who are in need, together with the NGO Mary’s Meals.

We are aware of the diversity of the planet, as well as the sad division between the first and the third world, with all that entails belonging to the latter. But we understand that looking the other way is not the solution and that we should help those in need. And it seems difficult that you can feed hungry childrenfrom a Spanish Restaurant in Berlin, but you can. Thanks to the collaboration we have with the NGO Mary’s Meals, every product that you eat in El Colmado, servesto feed five children suffering from hunger. On these very important dates, we invite you to El Colmado so that the wheel of change keeps turning, and, from a Spanish Restaurant in Berlin,we can achieve that children who cannot eat daily, receive a necessary and healthy diet. Meal for Meal, that is our motto that we have promoted together with the NGO Mary’s Meals. Our effort to represent and promote the Spanish gastronomic culture has not slowed our humanitarian vocation. The injustice of hunger is to be fought, and you can do itfrom El Colmado.
